Meet the AOPA staff: An AOPA event is a great time to meet the people behind the curtain—the ones protecting your freedom to fly every day. We love seeing our members, getting their thoughts, and simply just hanging out! If you plan on attending, make sure to stop by the AOPA tent, mingle with the staff, and grab some new swag!

Explore a new city: This year we’ve got events in Florida and Texas. If you love the water, sunshine, and aviation—Tampa is your place! This waterfront city is a great escape from the chilly fall temperatures up North. If a western escape is more your speed—Fort Worth is for you. Extend your stay and enjoy the culture of a new place!

Learn something new: Along with aircraft display, exhibits, and entertainment, AOPA events wouldn’t be complete without our renowned seminars. Expect topics like backcountry flying, STOL, and tips on how to be the best and safest pilots. 

See your new plane in person: ICYMI our 2023 Sweeps aircraft—a Cessna 170B, is making its way through aviation events across the country. This beast is getting a serious makeover—including bigger tires, a lightweight interior, more horsepower, modern instruments, and of course—a drool-worthy paint scheme.
