Fans of flying

Every airplane is one of a kind

These owners love their airplanes for many reasons, but it’s obvious each one is special to them, and they love to fly. Keep those photos and stories coming!

1969 Lake Buccaneer LA–4

I love this airplane because, while flying and landing at airports is always enjoyable, nothing compares to the thrill of approaching a lake and touching down on water. It feels like a low boat with wings, truly capturing the essence of an amphibious aircraft. Although its speed and performance may not be exceptional, the sheer fun of flying it is off the charts!

2010 Columbia 400

I love my Cessna TTx, for its speed, efficiency, and reliability. This is my second Columbia 400, and it continues to deliver whether I’m flying hard IFR into a big city airport or enjoying a cross-country mission in clear skies. It’s the consummate pilot’s airplane, combining safety, performance, and comfort. I feel fortunate to use it for both business and pleasure.

Cirrus SR20 G1

I love the SR20 for its lower operating costs compared to an SR22 or a turbo SR22T. It’s a perfect first airplane that can carry a good load, multiple passengers, is very comfortable, and travels long distances in between refueling. The CAPS gives passengers an extra safety margin, and I’ve been able to take friends that were nervous to fly up in the air because of having CAPS and have now turned them into fans of flying.

Bonanza A36

My Bonanza A36 allows me to play Maverick in Top Gun and Lt. Kaffee in A Few Good Men at the same time. As a kid, I always wanted to be a pilot and an attorney. Now I’m both. And my Bonanza allows me to travel all over Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Montana, and Colorado to practice law and recreate. With the air-conditioning, tip tanks, avionics, I’m comfortably able make these trips with ease and efficiency. And with the Jaguar Special Edition interior and paint, my airplane never has a twin on the ramp.
