When equipped with Dynon’s SkyView HDX touch-screen avionics panel, Baron owners and operators can choose to install Dynon’s three-axis Autopilot system, which includes yaw dampening when coupled with a compatible third-party IFR navigation system.

Dynon’s three-axis Autopilot for Baron aircraft starts at $11,192 when added to a SkyView HDX system. The price includes all brackets, hardware, and servo harnesses . Other optional equipment for the system includes the SkyView Autopilot Control Panel that features dedicated autopilot controls and the Knob Control Panel, which has knobs to adjust the altitude, heading/track, and altimeter settings.

The company is currently seeking autopilot approvals for certain Mooney M20 and Beechcraft Debonair 33 aircraft.

Dynon Certified also announced its electric trim control and autopilot auto-trim can now be installed in Dynon Autopilot-equipped Cessna 182; Piper Seneca; and Beechcraft Bonanza 35 and 36 series, and Baron 58 series aircraft. Aircraft must already have an electric trim system installed as original equipment, or certified by other means, to install the trim motor.
