Expanding its already expansive list of approved aircraft, Dynon Certified announced the SkyView HDX avionics and autopilot system has received FAA approval for Beechcraft Baron 58 and 58A models. Additionally, the company’s electronic trim control and auto-trim offerings have been expanded.
When equipped with Dynon’s SkyView HDX touch-screen avionics panel, Baron owners and operators can choose to install Dynon’s three-axis Autopilot system, which includes yaw dampening when coupled with a compatible third-party IFR navigation system.
The company is currently seeking autopilot approvals for certain Mooney M20 and Beechcraft Debonair 33 aircraft.
Dynon Certified also announced its electric trim control and autopilot auto-trim can now be installed in Dynon Autopilot-equipped Cessna 182; Piper Seneca; and Beechcraft Bonanza 35 and 36 series, and Baron 58 series aircraft. Aircraft must already have an electric trim system installed as original equipment, or certified by other means, to install the trim motor.
