G700s, G800 on display in Orlando

Gulfstream expects the flagship G700 and G800 to enter into service in 2023. The tour is intended to demonstrate the capabilities of the G700, which flies 7,500 nautical miles at Mach 0.85.

"Performance numbers exceed our original expectations, and so we're really excited about getting these airplanes to our customers as soon as we can next year," said Gulfstream President Mark Burns.

Burns also gave an update on an airworthiness directive for all G500 and G600 airplanes that followed hard landings related to the jets' angle of attack limiter. He said all in-service aircraft have been updated in compliance with the AD.

Gulfstream also announced the expansion of its Savannah, Georgia, manufacturing facilities and plans to open a new component repair and overhaul facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.
