AOPA Partner JSfirm.com to donate to EAA Young Eagles

Attendees at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, helped build future flying careers thanks to aviation jobs website JSFirm.com.

Visitors to the JSfirm.com booth (C30) in the EAA Career and Technology Center placed pins on a map of the United States marking their hometown. The firm planned to count the total number of pins and donate $1 for each pin, up to $3,000, to the EAA Young Eagles program at the conclusion of the weeklong show.

AOPA announced a partnership with JSfirm.com in April to allow job seekers to search for aviation jobs directly on the AOPA website. There is no charge for job seekers to use the site.

The partnership is just one of JSfirm.com’s efforts to help grow the aviation industry, said Scott Sarsfield, account manager.

"JSfirm.com’s goal is to keep pushing at the grass-roots level and raise awareness of the possibilities within aviation through career fairs, scholarships, donations, and creating partnerships in the industry, like the one we have with AOPA," said Abbey Hutter, marketing coordinator.

JSfirm.com’s two owners are pilots and aviation mechanics who saw a need for a job website that is strictly aviation-oriented, Sarsfield said.
