Aviation services company RocketRoute announced two new initiatives at this year’s European Business and Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE). The company provides a wide range of flight planning, ground handling, and fueling services for its 120,000 users around the world.
Now RocketRoute has launched a new website that centralizes all of its services and lets clients access them quickly and easily. Along with the website, the company—which is partnered with shareholder Air BP—offers the RocketRoute app. The app, which lets customers purchase fuel online directly from Air BP’s global network of locations, is available on the iTunes App Store and will run flight planning and fuel services, as well as the website, on iPhones and iPads. Users also can order fuel via Air BP’s Sterling Card.
“The new all-embracing RocketRoute app is something we have been developing in collaboration with Air BP since late last year. It brings together everything in a single integrated service, making it easier for the pilot to communicate with their preferred service providers and reduces paperwork for the operator. We liberate the pilot to focus on flying, saving time and effort for everyone,” said Kurt Lyall, co-founder of RocketRoute.
This one-stop shopping concept combines flight planning, trip paperwork, billing, and payment, while synchronizing automatically with flights filled by Eurocontrol and the FAA. Moreover, users can earn up to one percent cash back on trip expenses, plus access to special offers from handlers and suppliers, through a rewards program.
