If you’ve considered purchasing a new PS Engineering PMA8000 series audio panel, and you have a Garmin 340, now is the time. Between Nov. 1 and Feb. 29, the company is offering free installation for all units purchased through a dealer.
To take advantage of what the company is calling the Plug and Play—No Pay Program, aircraft owners who currently operate a Garmin 340 audio panel purchase a PS Engineering PMA8000 series audio panel through a participating dealer, and PS Engineering picks up the installation costs.
The PMA8000BT is PS Engineering’s newest and best audio panel. It has all the same features of the PMA8000 series, including a monitor mode, a front audio accessory jack, a telephone jack, an audio loop recorder, and four music muting modes. The newest feature, and what makes it a BT, is Bluetooth communications. This means pilots can now talk on their cellphone through the audio panel wirelessly with an established Bluetooth connection.
Retail prices on the PMA8000 series start at $1,895 and go up to $2,095 for the PMA8000BT.
