Welcome

On behalf of AOPA’s Regional Managers and Airport Policy staff, welcome to the AOPA Airport Support Network (ASN)! You are joining a network of more than 1,600 AOPA members across the United States that provides a first line of defense for general aviation’s community airports. In 2019, AOPA began a dedicated recruiting campaign to grow this Network and improve the way we “Promote, Protect, and Defend” community airports, and we are now growing by about 200 volunteers per year. I encourage you to review the material in this Orientation Guide carefully and to stay in communication with your AOPA regional manager. We are here to help YOU improve your airport! Thank you for your commitment to ensuring the health and vitality of your community airport.

Mike Ginter
Vice President, Airports and State Advocacy
