GPS jamming scheduled across U.S.
Pilots are hurrying to beat a deadline for equipping their aircraft with GPS-based navigation technology at the same time the military is stepping up its jamming of GPS during training exercises, said AOPA. GAMA: Aircraft sales continue shallow climb
The General Aviation Manufacturers Association on Feb. 20 reported modest increases across piston, turboprop, and business jet aircraft shipments in 2018. Cape Air, Mountain Air announce partnership pathway program
Regional airline Cape Air announced it will establish a partnership program with express cargo carrier Mountain Air Cargo (MAC) so that pilots can transition to either company to gain flight hours and experience. The program will enable Cape Air pilots to transition to ATR aircraft at MAC to gain turbine time, and for MAC’s Caravan pilots to log pilot-in-command multiengine time flying for Cape Air.
