AIRVENTURE - SEE YOU AT THE SHOW

The summer’s biggest party is just weeks away. That’s right, the countdown to AirVenture in Oshkosh Wisconsin is on! If you haven’t yet made the pilgrimage to aviation’s holy land, then you’re sadly missing out.

AOPA Pilot Gear

There’s nothing like Wittman Regional Airport in July. From the seaplanes splashing on Lake Winnebago’s shore, to the legendary afternoon airshows, and the adrenaline you get hearing the roar of fighter jets overhead, it’s a week like no other.

If you’re lucky enough to make it to the show, there is plenty to do and see: Here’s our picks for can’t miss activities to add to your itinerary.

Grab some new gear

Before you begin your weeklong excursion, be sure to stop by AOPA’s tent and grab some swag! Get a hat, keep the sun out of your eyes, and rep your status as an AOPA pilot around the show grounds (if anything it’s a great conversation starter). While you’re here, be sure to check out our amazing lineup of educational seminars, speakers, meet n’ greets, and of course—check out our new sweeps aircraft!

Find a spot on the flightline

The main attraction at AirVenture is the airshow, so grab some friends for a front row view on the flightline. Expect performances from the world’s best aerobatic pilots like Sean Tucker and Patty Wagstaff pulling straight Gs!

Connect with Influencers

More and more influencers are flocking to AirVenture each year, so don’t miss your chance to meet them in the flesh. AOPA’s 39 lounge will host meet n’ greets with several big names during the week!

Eat your heart out

If you went to AirVenture and didn’t get cheese curds, did you really go to AirVenture? Seriously, the food at the show is great! Grab some brats, root beer floats, and eat your heart out! Just make sure to double check that weight and balance sheet before you fly home.
