ATP Flight School announces quarterly training giveaway

ATP Flight School will give an Airbus A320 type rating and an Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP CTP) each quarter to randomly selected alumni, the school announced February 19.

ATP Flight School offers a program to train airline pilots with a fixed price and timeline—12 months starting with zero time, 11 months starting with credit for solo, or nine months for certificated private pilots.

The school, with locations around the country, provides ATP CTP training at ATP JETS Part 142 training facilities in Dallas and Orlando, Florida. More than 25,000 pilots have completed the ATP CTP program, the company noted in a news release.

Beginning in March, the school will randomly select one active ATP flight instructor each quarter to receive an Airbus A320 type rating training program valued at $10,850 for free, and another random drawing will award an ATP graduate free entry to the $4,295 ATP CTP program.

“ATP is deeply committed to the success of alumni, and what many may not realize is the substantial financial investment we make to continue supporting our students long after they graduate,” said ATP Vice President of Marketing Michael Arnold, in the news release. “Through the no-cost, no-fee Alumni Association, ATP has saved alumni over $750,000 … by covering the cost of their Flight Instructor Refresher Course through King Schools. ATP is proud to add to this investment by giving graduates a unique opportunity to gain the competitive edge and advance their qualifications by providing up to $15,000 of training for free.”

The school offers job placement assistance through hiring events and partnerships with 38 airline, cargo, and corporate operators.
