EAA AirVenture is a family affair, both in the sense of families related by blood who gather in campsites, and the larger family of general aviation. The massive event, expected to draw more than 500,000 visitors, is an aircraft spotter's paradise, and AOPA Senior Photographer David Tulis found no shortage of happy people, and sights to share.
