By making the overall learning process more efficient, the company intends to help flight schools graduate qualified airline pilots at a higher rate and help relieve the global pilot shortage.
“Next Gen Flight Schedule Pro is a critical step in flight school management technology,” said Nick Wegner, CEO of Flight Schedule Pro. “Our customers serve not only their students but also global airlines who are combatting the pilot shortage. Next Gen capabilities maximize aircraft utilization, streamline student progress tracking, and automate billing and operations to strengthen the relationship between flight schools, their students and the airlines.”
Among the Nex Gen platform’s priorities is promoting efficient utilization of aircraft, which traditionally is among the biggest challenges in flight training. By optimizing scheduling, flight schools can increase training capacity while avoiding the expense of acquiring additional aircraft. The result is improved profitability for flight schools and more rapid progress for student pilots.
“Flight Schedule Pro’s Next Gen platform has been transformative for our operations,” said Ed Bagden, director of operations at LIFT Academy. “We’ve invested heavily in leveraging the data FSP provides to optimize our operations. The insights we gain allow us to make data-driven decisions, drive efficiency, maximize aircraft utilization, and graduate industry-leading pilots to join Republic Airlines.”
Flight Schedule Pro also offers a guidance and support program to customers implementing the new platform to help them make the best use of its features.
“Our goal is to ensure that every flight school can fully leverage the power of our Next Gen platform to transform their operations,” said Corey Knop, the company’s newly appointed vice president of customer experience. Knop said the concierge support program includes a North American team of more than a dozen members from the aviation industry “providing hands-on support and implementation every step of the way.”
