Hiring has heated up
Airlines, charter operators, flight test departments, and other aviation employers are actively seeking qualified candidates across the country. The return of in-person events has also enabled career fairs and similar gatherings to expand. Read on to learn about job fairs at major events, or happening near you.

Sun 'n Fun career fair expands in new location
The career fair at Sun 'n Fun Aerospace Expo in Lakeland, Florida, will feature more than 20 airlines, aircraft makers, and other employers actively hiring pilots. This year's career fair (April 7 through 9) will be in a new location south of Hangar B. Attendees who register in advance may be able to schedule job interviews before the career fair begins.

FAPA hosts monthly recruiting events
Future and Active Pilot Advisors invites those with a commercial pilot certificate and/or 250 hours to attend job fairs scheduled each month in locations around the country. The next opportunity will be in Seattle on April 23, followed by Philadelphia in May and Denver in June.

The world's largest airshow is packed with opportunities, including entry-level jobs and upgrades for career pilots. JSfirm.com sponsors the weeklong Aviation Job Fair during EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in July.

ProJet Aviation at Leesburg Executive Airport in Virginia hosts a popular Aviation Education and Career Expo geared toward high school and college students, where many scholarships are also awarded.
