General aviation manufacturing giant Piper Aircraft made several hires after hosting high school students at its Vero Beach, Florida, headquarters.
On May 5 students from Vero Beach High School and Sebastian River High School were invited for a tour and exploratory visit of the Piper Aircraft worldwide headquarters. After the tour, Piper conducted interviews with the soon-to-be graduates and then extended job offers to 84 percent of the candidates. In early June, Piper announced that the new hires were “currently in the training process and will join the manufacturing and production control teams in the near future.”
To meet current and future production needs, Piper continues to actively recruit aircraft maintenance technicians, operators, assemblers, and more. For more information about career opportunities at Piper Aircraft, and to view current openings, visit the website.
