Final Exam
Question

I am a CFI but am not current to carry passengers in single-engine aircraft as I have not met the recency requirements of FAR 61.57 for that category and class. If I perform a flight review for a pilot who does not currently meet the requirements to act as pilot in command, can I act as PIC because he is a person receiving instruction rather than a passenger?
Answer
According to FAA legal interpretations from 2007 and 2014, what you want to do is legal. Join the discussion >
