The First Flight Society sweepstakes fundraiser provides the rare chance to pilot a North American P–51 Mustang, one of the most famous aircraft in history, beloved by such famed aviators as Brig. Gen. Charles McGee and Brig. Gen. Charles E. “Chuck” Yeager. The winner will be able to handle most of the flying—from basic maneuvering to aerobatics—and log the flight time.
The winner can schedule the experience with Stallion 51 Corp. up to 12 months after winning, and the prize includes a stipend toward travel expenses to Orlando, Florida, for the flight. Also included in the package are a Stallion 51 jacket and video of the experience.
No purchase is necessary, although donations to the society increase the chance of winning. Entries will be accepted until December 17. Official rules are available on the First Flight Society’s website.
