Final Exam
Question

I'm planning a two-hour flight to a Class C airspace airport in a Cessna 172 equipped with a Mode C transponder. A direct flight will take me over two additional Class C airspace areas. Should I make three ADS-B deviation requests for the flight—two to overfly the Class C airspace areas and one to land—or should I request one deviation for landing and fly around the other two areas?
Answer
It's up to you. FAA regulations and guidance don't provide information about which option you should choose, only that if you choose to overfly the Class C airspace areas, you must make your deviation requests to each facility at least one hour before you do (see FAR 91.225(g)(2)).
