Researchers at the Florida Institute of Technology hope many pilots will take part in a 10-minute online survey about pilot weather reports, and opine whether speech recognition software might make submissions easier. More detailed pireps could improve forecast accuracy. The research is part of a broader effort by the FAA Center of Excellence for General Aviation.
