FAA to modify California's Buchanan Field airspace

AOPA urges pilots to review the proposal and submit comments to the FAA by December 6 as provided below.

As the FAA graphic above illustrates, the configuration of the airport’s existing Class D airspace would be modified, and an area of Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface would be added between 4.1 nautical miles and 11 nm from the airport in the northeast quadrant “to contain instrument approach procedures as aircraft descend through 1,500 feet AGL.”

Please identify Docket No. FAA–2019– 0678; Airspace Docket No. 18–AWP–27, at the beginning of your comments.
