Each time you take an action in Pilot Passport, you earn points toward badges. In July, the six participants who earn the most badges will win a $25 Hertz rental certificate and a $25 AOPA Pilot Gear gift card.

Here’s where a little strategic thinking will increase your fun on flights and help you maximize the number of points you can earn for each—increasing your chances of earning more badges and becoming one of the top six! View the Pilot Passport badge key to determine how many badges you could earn by checking in at different airports. For example, landing at a grass strip in Class G airspace for an aviation event could get you points in multiple badge categories: state, region, runway, airspace, event, and more. Share your flying experience by rating the airport, taking a photo, and posting a comment to social media to earn points toward the social badge.

Pilot Passport participants have checked in more than 16,000 times, uploaded more than 1,300 photos, and earned more than 5,500 badges since the program launched in April.
