An F/A-18 Super Hornet, T-6 Texans, a Mig-17, Van’s RV-8s, and a SubSonex JSX-2 were just some of the aircraft that dazzled EAA AirVenture attendees July 27 during the night airshow. The dark sky was the perfect backdrop for fireworks and light displays emanating from aircraft performing aerobatics in the challenging nighttime environment.
