Aerosim Flight Academy in Orlando, Florida, is offering scholarships for qualified veterans who want to become professional pilots.
Veterans must meet a set of requirements to apply, including a 500-word essay on their desire to work in aviation, how they could benefit the aviation industry, and why they are a good candidate for Aerosim.
Even if applicants receive a scholarship, a cash payment is required before starting the program, Aerosim said. The scholarship will be posted to the student’s account after he or she has completed the commercial multiengine rating.
