Sirius Technologies, doing business as Flight Display Systems, offers an airplane cabin iPad arm mount for aircraft cabin seats. Passengers can mount their iPads for use during flight and watch movies, play games, or play their iTunes library over the aircraft cabin speaker. No price has been determined.
The company also offers an upgrade package for Citation Mustang and Embraer Phenom owners called the Club CMS that provides a complete in-flight entertainment package. It costs $25,000. In addition to a moving map flight display, it allows connection of an iPod, iPhone, or iPad that will charge batteries and share music.
There is also a DVD/CD player with USB media inputs. Six audio channels provide up to 90 hours of MP3 music. Passenger switching panels and a headphone jack offer passenger control of the system.
