Continental won’t increase prices

Sometimes no news is good news. Teledyne Continental Motors says 2010 prices for new and rebuilt engines will not increase.

Continental officials say they have concentrated during the economic downturn on improving several aspects of factory operations, resulting in lower production costs. The savings were used to invest in technology and to keep prices low.

“In 2009, TCM worked very hard to improve manufacturing efficiencies. We are committed to delivering this value to our customers,” said Rhett Ross, president of Teledyne Continental Motors. “TCM is pleased to keep engine pricing near levels that were last seen in 2007.”
