Elite Simulation Solutions announced last week a new product and a number of upgrades to its product line.
The company announced the PT-136 Proficio portable training device at EAA AirVenture. The PT-136 weighs 70 pounds and comes in a reusable case, which the company says makes it convenient for multiple classrooms for a freelance flight instructor. Included in the package are six WAAS-equipped aircraft, including the Cessna 172 and Piper Archer.
The system features a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, an instructor screen, and outlets for a projector or TV screen.
The PT-136 is also certificated by the FAA for use in ATP, commercial, instrument, and private pilot training.
Elite also announced an upgrade RC-1 AATD. The RC-1 now features a GNS430 WAAS simulator integrated into the package. This announcement coincided with the ability to use dual GNS430Ws in Microsoft’s Flight Sim X on Elite’s systems.
