Northwest Aviation Conference offers great seminars

Project Pilot

A host of great seminars are on tap for the Northwest Aviation Conference and Trade Show from February 24 through 25, and AOPA will be there in full force.

AOPA President Phil Boyer will be speaking from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday about the big issues affecting pilots in the Northwest and nationwide, including the FAA funding debate. Earlier that day, from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m., will be the AOPA Airport Support Network seminar, "Promoting Your Airport 101," about making your airport a focal point of the community. Also, the AOPA Air Safety Foundation will provide two of its popular seminars: "Emergency Procedures" from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, and "Do the Right Thing: Decision Making for Pilots" from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. on Saturday and 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. on Sunday.

Rounding out the schedule is AOPA Project Pilot's "Invitation to Fly" seminar from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Future pilots and aviation enthusiasts will find out what they've been missing, and current pilots will learn how to share their passion for flight. The two-day event takes place in Puyallup, Washington.
