CAU plans seminars for aspiring pilots

Firsthand experience to be shared

California Aeronautical University is holding an “Aspiring Pilot Seminar” to help students and others understand how to start a career as a pilot.

The first seminar will take place on April 4, from 5 p.m.to 8 p.m. at the Rancho High School in Las Vegas. A second seminar is scheduled for April 10 at the March Field Air Museum in Riverside, California. CAU staff will be present to offer guidance to anyone who is interested in becoming a pilot. Employees from CAU Admissions staff will be on hand to discuss admission requirements.

Each seminar covers topics like finding the right aviation university and the role it plays in a pilot career, financial aid, FAA medical certification, and the stages of flight training.

There’ll be fun challenges and participants can win discovery flights and swag.

Details and registration instructions are available on the CAU website.

CAU offers aviation degrees and FAA Part 141 flight training, with a main campus in Bakersfield, California, and another in Arizona.
