Textron streamlines turbine service

Textron Aviation created a call center dedicated to serving Beechraft, Citation, and Hawker turbine and turboprop owners in need of repairs, wherever they may be. Textron Aviation photo.

Owners of business jets and turboprops in the Beechcraft, Citation, and Hawker lines have a new number to call when “unscheduled” maintenance needs arise. The call center, announced Jan. 26, is dubbed 1Call, and the number is 316/ 517-2090, at any time, day or night. Don’t everybody call at once: Owners of piston aircraft will continue to use their present support network, a company spokesperson confirmed.

Brad Thress, senior vice president of customer service, noted in the news release that the call center will streamline support.

“Customers calling this dedicated line will be able to receive prioritized technical support, order expedited parts, have alternative lift quickly dispatched, or even schedule a mobile service unit,” Thress said.

The call center boasts a bevy of display screens “that track all calls, air response aircraft and mobile service units through issue resolution,” the company noted.

Textron Aviation, owner of the Cessna, Beechcraft, and Hawker brands, staffs a network of 21 service centers around the world, with nearly 200 additional authorized service facilities. Textron Aviation also operates three dedicated support aircraft and 60 mobile service units.
