Bid on the Breitling Seventy-Fifth Anniversary Limited Edition AOPA Navitimer.

Watches for every kind of aviator and two pieces of unique aviation jewelry showcasing a pair of perennial-favorite aircraft are among the wide variety of great items, getaways, and experiences available to the highest bidder in this year’s AOPA Foundation online auction. The bidding is open through Dec. 20.

Breitling’s AOPA Navitimer returns for AOPA’s seventy-fifth anniversary, giving you a chance to own a real piece of aviation history. Only 750 AOPA 75th Anniversary Breitling Navitimers were created, with serial No. 1 reserved for this year’s auction. Breitling launched this special timepiece to mark AOPA’s anniversary and honor its mission of protecting the freedom to fly for thousands of pilots, aircraft owners, and enthusiasts. The watch is crafted to reflect the original design from the 1950s, and features the association’s logo on the dial and on the case back. Members can customize their Navitimer with their name and AOPA membership number. And here’s another historical note: The Navitimer is the oldest mechanical chronograph in production.

MTM watches are worn by special operations forces worldwide because they want a watch that is rugged, durable, and water-resistant. No chronograph meets those needs better than the Special Ops Silver Predator. Designed for use in the service, and engineered to perform under extreme conditions, the MTM Silver Predator is built for action, from its three-dial chronograph—which times to a tenth of a second—to its carbon fiber dial, and 200-meter water resistance. Choose from a 316L solid stainless steel case or a titanium case. Either way, the Special Ops Silver Predator is all business.

For the woman who flies, the Lady Abingdon “Elise” Watch in Egyptian Gold may be the perfect fit. The “Elise” is the official watch awarded by the Air Race Classic to first-place winners. It is a Tri-Time Zone watch in Egyptian Gold Superior Ionic 24k plating, with a Mother of Pearl cabin interior with super luminous hands surrounded by a bi-directional rotating bezel. Watches from Abingdon Co. combine durable features like sapphire crystals, surgical grade stainless steel, and Super-LumiNova hands and hour markings. The watches are built to withstand the harshest elements and still look great.

A classic airplane has become eye-catching jewelry at the hands of Master Jeweler John Witt, who has designed the unique pair of P-51 Mustang earrings available exclusively through Aviation Jewelry Designs. These drop earrings made of sterling silver dangle from lever backs—a truly unmatched way to show off your style with an aviation statement.

If you are among the many T-6 Texan warbird pilots, mechanics, and enthusiasts, the auction provides a one-time opportunity to put your pride in your favorite aircraft on display with a prop pendant designed by artisan John Witt for the Prop Series by Aviation Jewelry Designs. This pendant, crafted from tarnish-resistant and hardened 925 sterling silver comes with a beautiful diamond cut rope chain, stylishly re-creating the engineering marvel that was the T-6 Texan.

Donations to the AOPA Foundation, including those made through the online auction, help the AOPA Air Safety Institute offer free safety and educational materials to pilots. These tax-deductible funds also support AOPA’s Regional Fly-Ins, the You Can Fly program to increase the pilot population, the Rusty Pilots program, the Reimagined 152 effort to get affordable aircraft into flying clubs, the AV8RS youth membership program, and efforts to promote airports.
