Club Description

Delaware Valley Aviation is one of the oldest flying clubs in the United States, founded 1954. Our mission is safe, economical flying in attractive planes. We own a 1979 Piper Archer II, a 1978 Piper Lance II, and a 1981 Piper Dakota -- all hangared at PNE Jet Center, IFR-equipped, and with coupled autopilots and WAAS-enabled GPS. Private pilot certificate required for membership. (Sorry, we do not offer primary training.) Photos and hourly costs at our web site, phillyflyingclub.com (see link above). Club instructors available to our members for advanced training -- instruments, complex, high performance, etc.! Northeast Philadelphia airport is convenient to pilots in southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey. See our web site (link above) for additional info.

What a great flying club! I've been a member since I moved to Philadelphia in 1999, and I love everything about it. Great planes, great governance, at a great airport.
