Award-winning flight school to launch webinar series

San Carlos Flight Center will launch a series of interactive webinars intended to help flight schools and flying clubs share ideas and energize their programs. The first webinar, “Differentiating your school/club through safety seminars,” will air at 5 p.m. Eastern (2 p.m. Pacific) on Oct. 16.

“An active safety seminar program brings people together, generates energy, and leads to more business,” the flight school said. San Carlos Flight Center, based at San Carlos Airport in California, hosts a new safety seminar twice a week, which has made them the center of activity at the airport.

Flight schools and flying clubs that are looking for an edge over their competitors, or who want to build a stronger sense of community and a positive safety culture, are urged to participate in the webinar. The program will be hosted by Dave Kramer, San Carlos Flight Center safety seminar program coordinator, and owner and chief pilot Dan Dyer.

San Carlos Flight Center was named Best Flight School in the 2013 Flight Training Excellence Awards.
