Question: When was the first all-metal airplane built?

Answer: According to Famous First Facts International Edition, the first practical all-metal airplane was completed on Dec. 12, 1915. It was the Junkers J-1 Blechesel, which was a monoplane built in the Junkers factory in Dessau, Germany.
