ANNOUNCING AOPA’S 2018 FLY-INS: GATEWAYS FOR EXPLORATION

New locations boast unique cultures, activities.

AOPA's 2018 Fly-In locations are gateways to explore the mountain northwest, high desert mountains, a cutting-edge center for the automobile and aviation industries in the Midwest, and a relaxed beach town along the Gulf Coast—all great family vacation destinations, all strategically located within an easy flight of tens of thousands of AOPA members.

The popular two-day events will kick off June 15 and 16 in Missoula, Montana, then head to Santa Fe, New Mexico, Sept. 14 and 15; Carbondale, Illinois, Oct. 5 and 6; and Gulf Shores, Alabama, Oct. 26 and 27.

AOPA's regional fly-ins allow us to meet you where you fly and offer exceptional flying adventures for you and your family. They also provide opportunities for you to connect with other pilots and enthusiasts, make new friends, and create lasting memories.

Whether you're an aircraft owner, experienced pilot, rusty pilot, new pilot, student pilot, or just plain crazy about airplanes, an AOPA Fly-In has something for you. The combined two days are loaded to maximum gross with workshops, the Barnstormers Party, seminars, exhibits, world-class presenters, lots of aircraft, and technologies, products, and services to make your flying more enjoyable, practical, and safe.

Learn – You'll find plenty of focused workshops and engaging seminars. Haven't been in the left seat for a while? Check out Rusty Pilots. Interested in drones? We'll have seminars for both beginners and experienced pilots. We'll have something for every level of pilot – and aviation enthusiasts, too! Don't miss the Pilot Town Hall where you can share your ideas with AOPA President and CEO Mark Baker and find out what's new in GA and at AOPA.

Experience – Who doesn't love the Friday night Barnstormers Party? Whether you're there to have fun with your family or make new friends, you'll have a blast. Stroll through the Exhibit Hall and explore the latest products, gadgets, and technologies. Learn more about AOPA's member benefits, products, and services at the AOPA Village – we bet you'll discover something new! View a variety of aircraft of all shapes and sizes at the Aircraft Display. Have an aircraft for sale? Make it happen at the Aircraft Sellers Corral.

Explore – Take in the sights and sounds of local culture either on your own or through one of our planned excursions. Extend your weekend and experience a new flying destination, make new memories, and connect with other pilots by participating in an organized fly-out.

Plan – Whether you're flying or driving in, we'll help you plan your trip, including finding a hotel or camping with your aircraft, rental cars and transportation alternatives, meals (Friday Barnstormers Party, a traditional pancake breakfast at the airport on Saturday, plus a selection of lunch options), and much more!
